Schwegler meadow & house swallow's nest

We supply the wooden parts of the nest No. 9B and the dropping board No. 9B untreated. Although not absolutely necessary, it is advisable to pre-treat the corner board with wax, stain or (facade) paint before installation to minimize discoloration from weathering. Do not treat the nesting bowls, to fully retain breathability for good nesting success.

As an alternative to the House Swallow Nest 9A, the Double House Swallow Nest 9B with nesting bowls made of breathable Schwegler wood concrete and a plywood corner board was developed. The nesting bowls can be easily removed and retracted due to the metal clip holder.

Under roof overhangs on the exterior walls of buildings.

Be sure to face away from wind and rain. House martins do not nest inside buildings.
