Tree Runner chainsaw shock absorber

If an 8 kg chainsaw falls from a height of 1.5 metres into a chainsaw band, this results in a sudden load peak of approximately 120 kg. This force not only affects the climber, but usually causes the saw to fall to the ground. Destruction is the result. The fall protection brakes the saw gently with a tear seam. Maximum load of the climber 40 kg!

However, the saw hooks into a falling trunk, tears the seam completely and releases the saw.
