Grounding of the device is necessary for proper operation of an electric shock device. A good earthing consists of earthing pins with earthing terminals. Always use galvanized earthing pins with matching earthing terminals because they conduct the current better.

Always use earth pins of the correct length.
The length of the grounding pins and the required number of grounding pins depends on the electric fencer you have.

With the additional grounding pin of 0.5m + 3m cable each battery device can be adequately grounded.

• Battery devices: minimum length 0.5 metres
• Battery devices: minimum length 1 meter
• Mains appliances: length at least 2 metres
