Fiskars Wood Splitter is a special helicoidal wedge that makes it easier to split wood from larger logs that are more difficult to split with a normal axe. Placing the wedge in a cutting hole and then hitting it with a sledge hammer reduces the need to use several wedges because of its special shape. This wedge has a rounded head to prevent material fragmentation and is made of forged steel for rugged performance.
