**The Pocketboy is available in two lengths: 130 and 170 mm and 4 teeth. The coarse cut (red: 8 teeth per 30 mm) is suitable for general pruning work in fresh wood. The medium serration (black: 10 teeth per 30 mm) is ideal for cutting in drier and harder but fresh wood. The fine toothing (yellow: 20 teeth per 30 mm) is suitable for cutting hard and dry wood such as bamboo and can be used well in hobby and craft work. The extra fine serration (purple: 26 teeth per 30 mm) is intended for fine woodworking, such as the furniture maker. The blades are interchangeable within the same blade length.

The Silky saw is designed to cut with the pulling motion, so the blade can not bend. If your saw does get stuck, never push or force it hard, this can damage or break the saw blade. Always remove the clamp weight to free the saw.

The Silky saw provides a fine cut and requires little sawing force. Do not put any strain on the saw; let the saw do the work. You will tire less quickly and it will benefit the life of the saw. You can control the wood removal of the saw slightly by where you hold the handle. If you hold the handle close to the blade, there will be relatively little pressure on the blade and the saw will take out the least amount of wood, allowing you to cut very gently and finely. If you hold the handle at the end, there will be the most pressure on the blade allowing maximum cutting action.
