Immersion bell Ø17mm, with fixing eye

An immersion bell is in fact nothing more than a small tube, closed on one side, with a diameter of 17 mm. When the open bottom side touches the liquid level at a reasonable speed, a 'popping' sound can be heard. The signal can normally be heard clearly to a depth of about 10 metres. When reaching depth, the clock is moved up and down over shorter distances for a more accurate level determination. Accuracy ± 0.5 cm.

The measuring tapes must be purchased separately (art. no.: 11010202 length 5 m and 11010203 length 10 m). The measuring tapes have been adapted for use with the immersion bell, so that the reading at ground level corresponds to the actual depth of the groundwater.
