Gränsfors Bruk 490-1 throwing axe (double)

The Gränsfors Double Bit Axe is based on the North American work axes, but has been adapted for use in axe throwing. Both sides are identical and the centre of gravity and handle are carefully positioned so that the axe turns well in flight.

Nowadays there are competitions for throwing double-bladed axes.
The axe has a straight hickory handle. The dimensions and design of the axe comply with the rules for throwing axes.

Steel color is different?

Indeed because this is a handmade product, the stem color may vary from the picture in connection with oils of the stem. This also applies to the grain and the color of the protective cover.
