Gränsfors Bruks 442 Large Splitting Axe 70 cm

The Gränsfors Large Splitting Axe can be used for splitting all kinds of firewood. It is forged and ground to a hollow, rather thin blade at the bit. The axe cuts quickly and easily into the wood and then splits it effectively, as the wider part pushes the wood apart.

The handle has a protective steel collar under the axe head and rounded grooves towards the end for an extra firm grip. The handle is available in two shapes, a shorter and a longer version.

Splitting axes may not be used for striking or as a wedge. Only the Splitting Axe is designed for this purpose.

Steel color is different?

Indeed because this is a handmade product, the stem color may vary from the picture in connection with oils of the stem. This also applies to the grain and the color of the protective cover.
