Description

Morakniv White Bushcraft Knife

The Morakniv Wit a handmade bushcraft knife at heart, reliable and equipped with Full-tang construction for long-lasting adventures. The handle geometry allows for a variety of handles and this, along with the blade shape, allows the Wit to be a precision tool without becoming fragile.

"Wit-Anders Eriksson was a respected craftsman at the beginning of the 20th century who influenced an entire generation of knives (makers). His unique interest in design and engineering would later result in a series of beautiful, handmade knives made of birch wood. Although production was very small, he managed to provide for his family for the rest of his life."

The razor-sharp blade is made of 100% recycled Swedish stainless steel, a sustainable and local way of dealing with a scarce material. This type of steel has excellent toughness, sharpness retention and durability. A good choice for an all-around outdoor knife.
The blade is finished with a black PC coating, this gives the blade a unique look and contrasts beautifully with the shiny scandi gravel cut. Furthermore, the back of the blade is ground flat so it is well suited for use with a firesteel. The Wit has an ergonomically shaped handle made of clear ash wood sourced from European FSC® forests. Ash wood is an amazing material that is naturally durable. The wood has only been treated with a protective layer of wax, thus preserving the properties of the wood throughout its life.

The included sheath protects the cut and prevents unwanted cutting. The scabbard is made of vegetable tanned leather, making the leather naturally protected from the elements. Also, during its life, the leather will develop a patina that tells the story of its use and makes each knife unique.
