The Dutch Oven is made of cast iron, has legs on the bottom and the lid has a raised rim. Cast iron is a material that conducts and retains heat well, ideal for preparing the most delicious dishes. Cast iron is suitable for any heat source and thanks to the feet on the bottom, you can cook directly on the heat source, without 'suffocating' the heat. Thanks to the raised rim, you can place coals on the lid to create an oven function inside the Dutch Oven.

The Dutch Ovens from Valhal Outdoor are already pre-treated with a natural oil, so you don't have to do this yourself before the first use. However, we do recommend that you heat the Dutch Ovens well before first use. When you take good care of your Dutch Oven, you have a pan for life. To ensure a long life, we recommend that you regularly care for your pan with the Valhal wax.
