Valhal Outdoor Care Wax for Cast Iron 125 grams

Valhal Outdoor wax is made in Holland according to our own recipe and the composition of the chosen ingredients has been carefully researched. The Valhal Outdoor wax is perfect for taking care of your cast iron pans and accessories, but can also be used to burn in your cast iron items.

The wax is firm, but can easily be smeared with a sponge or cloth. Because we have chosen to work exclusively with natural ingredients, the wax has a beautiful natural light yellow color and you can smell a hint of beeswax.

Instructions for use:

• Place your cast iron pan or accessory in the oven and preheat your oven to 175 degrees. Leave your item to warm up for 20 min.
• While the cast iron is still warm, rub all sides with a tea towel or kitchen paper with the VH.WAX from Valhal Outdoor.
• Rub your cast iron again with another clean cloth for a thin and even wax layer.
• Put your cast iron pan or accessory back in the oven at 250 degrees for 40 minutes. This allows polymerization of the coating.
• Depending on how smooth and/or greased you want your cast iron item, you can repeat this process two or three times.
