The Dutch Oven 12 liters is made of cast iron and has legs on the bottom. Because the Dutch Oven is made of cast iron, it is suitable for any heat source.

Because of the feet on the lid, you can place it upside down directly on the heat source, without 'smothering' the heat. You can use the lid as a skillet. The raised edge allows you to place coals on the lid and create an oven function inside the Dutch Oven.

The VH12L+ has feet on the bottom and is therefore suitable for a campfire, 3-legged or with briquettes underneath.

Valhal Outdoor's Dutch Ovens are already pre-treated with a natural oil, so you do not need to do this yourself before first use. However, we do recommend that you heat the Dutch Ovens thoroughly before using them for the first time. When you take good care of your Dutch Oven, you have a pot for life. To make sure it lasts as long as possible, we recommend you regularly treat your pan with VHWAX.
