Description
Gardena Smart Senor (19040-20)
The smart sensor enables smart and sustainable use of water and better and healthier plant growth. It quickly and reliably measures soil moisture, light intensity and soil temperature. The garden is therefore only watered when it is needed.
Moreover, it is perfectly suited for any application - in a flower pot, a vegetable bed or on the lawn. Due to its flat top, the smart sensor can be used in the same area as lawnmowers and robotic mowers.
The Gardena smart sensor records the current data, which is transmitted to the free Gardena smart app. Based on these readings, the setting of the watering control can be carried out.
Requirements: Smart Gateway, (WLAN) router and internet access, smartphone, tablet or PC.
PLEASE NOTE: Batteries are not included in the scope of delivery.

Measures soil moisture precisely and saves water
The clever sensor measures the moisture content of the soil particularly quickly and reliably and thereby enables economical irrigation of your garden. It is watered only when needed.
Modern and compact design
The clever sensor can be used anywhere in the garden or in plant containers on the patio or balcony.
Digital root through particularly large measuring field
Soil moisture is measured exactly where it matters - directly at the roots of the plant, whether deeper in the lawn or less deep in the flower pot. It also works reliably in different types of potting soil.
Extra-flat head
The smart Sensor can also be used in the middle of the lawn and, thanks to the particularly flat head section, does not disturb any robotic mowers or lawnmowers.
Reliable operation and a wireless, secure connection
The compact sensor can be positioned flexibly, transmits precise measurement data via radio to the GARDENA smart Gateway and allows operation for an entire garden season on 2 AA batteries (not included).

Take care of your garden wherever you are. With the GARDENA smart app you can control it from anywhere at any time. Thanks to perfect planning, everything is under control. Setting up your own smart system is very easy and helpful assistants in the app guide you step by step.
