Pfanner Protos Integral Forest Helmet Yellow Grey
The revolution in head protection! Finally a helmet that is really comfortable and also offers protection from all sides.
Integral refers to the integrated parts. No more protruding ear flaps, no more open spaces between visor and helmet. The helmet can be modularly constructed which gives the user enormous freedom of movement: as a climbing helmet, forestry helmet or climbing helmet with ear and face protection, with the Protos it's all possible! The chin strap, visor, ear flaps and neck protection can be easily added or removed. And not unimportant: the hygiene parts can be replaced just as quickly.

Features
Field of vision
Very wide field of vision. Both to the front, to the left and to the right, as well as at the top! Very unique and enlightening.
Neck protection
The neck protection section protects the back of the head from external impacts and blows and prevents the risk of a skull base fracture.
Visibility
The sporty two-color combination has a 35% more visible surface. The increased visibility gives the wearer a huge advantage in situations where they have poor visibility (bushes, dense conifers, blinding sun) regardless of the season.
Inner shell construction
Due to the special construction (3-point attachment with anti-shock padding) of the inner shell, shocks are not transmitted directly to the head/spine.
For the first time a helmet has been tested according to EN 397 n EN 12492 resulting in protection against horizontal and vertical impact. An innovative "all around protection" for your head!

Inner shell
Due to the extensively adjustable inner shell the helmet fits perfectly. In the event of an impact, the energy is spread evenly over a large surface and absorbed proportionally.
Hearing protection
Because the ear flaps are always in close proximity to the head, they simultaneously function as an added shock absorber.
Ventilation slider
The safety ventilation slider provides protection exactly where it is needed. Horizonal and vertical impact is absorbed even before the energy reaches the helmet shell.
Hearing protection
The integrated hearing protection eliminates choking on branches and the like. The pressure of the ear flaps can also be adjusted to the wishes of the user which gives enormous wearing comfort.
Face protection
Two major advantages of the integrated visor: you can work without being bothered by twigs or thorns and still enjoy a maximum field of vision.
Neck section
This special adjustable system ensures a correct fit. This ensures a stable position on the head even without a chinstrap!
Active ventilation
The special construction of the helmet guarantees active ventilation (air can circulate freely: entering from all sides and leaving from the ventilation holes). The ventilation holes are easy to close and open with a simple sliding movement. In this way, the helmet can be easily adjusted to hot, cold and wet weather conditions.
Chin strap
To prevent the chin strap from slipping under the hearing protection, a special bracket is attached to the neck protector. Thus, the wearing comfort and sound attenuation are not reduced.ÿ(optionally available)
Klima-Air Technology
Extraordinarily good sweat transport due to the large padding with Klima-Air Technology. Also, the forehead strap is very easy to change, machine washable and quick drying.
Patented size adjustment
The patented system makes it very easy to put on and take off the helmet. Once adjusted, the helmet never needs to be adjusted again.
Lightweight operation
The different functions can be operated with two fingers. The hearing protection can be simply slid under the helmet so that it does not cause any discomfort even in the deactivated position.
