Okatsune Shrub Shears 217 Short Handle

Short model hedge trimmer with short wooden handles of 30 cm and a medium razor sharp jaw of 175 mm. This short, lightweight model is ideal for topiary trimming boxwood or Japanese garden (o-karikomi) because you are close to the work. The 217 is also ideal for trimming in tight spaces. The blade of the 217 boxwood shears is 30 mm longer than the blade of the 216 boxwood shears. This has the advantage that you can penetrate deeper into the crop and cut faster in larger areas.

Maintenance:

The scissors are made up of only a few parts so they require little maintenance. It is recommended to clean the blades after use. After cleaning, it is wise to oil the scissors and store them moisture free with the blades closed. If you notice that the scissors are cutting less well, you can sharpen them with the Okatsune whetstone (Okatsune 412).
