The pliers allow you to easily lock the teeth of your saw. Place the pliers on the tooth. Make sure the anvil touches the center of the tooth. Hold each other tooth on one side, rotate the saw and continue with the remaining teeth.

The pliers easily bend the teeth outward. This lengthens the cutting channel and allows the saw's spine to glide through the wood more easily. This prevents the saw from jamming as much as possible.

The pliers are not suitable for circular saw blades. For handsaws with 4 - 12 teeth per inch (2.5 mm - thickness max. 1.6 mm).
