Tool for filing a saw chain. The lines attached to the holder make it easy to keep the file always in the correct position for the required top plate angle on the chisel teeth of the saw chain. Always hold the file at the correct depth and clamp it firmly in place.

The finely-holding wooden handle and file can be replaced by a new one.
