Veluwe, unexpected reunion

Veluwe, unexpected reunion, a book about the inhabitants of the Veluwe and of course the various landscapes. Geurt Besselink spent over two years gathering the images together by subject, atmosphere, color, shape, circumstances, type of landscape, point of view, etc. The photos cover a period of 35 years of photographing on the Veluwe. Most were made in the last 10 years.

In recent years Geurt has spent a lot of time trying to get the wolf in front of the lens. The wisents did not get there on their own, but certainly just as photogenic. The book goes through the 4 seasons and there is a lot of focus on animals including wildlife and birds. The format is similar to the other books (24 x 30cm). Lots of photos and little text.
