Automatic control of several irrigation systems.

With the GARDENA Comfort Irrigation Control System 4040 modular, larger irrigation systems, mostly flush-mounted, such as the GARDENA Sprinkler System, can be automatically controlled. The Comfort Irrigation Control System 4040 Modular is ideal if the water quantity is insufficient for simultaneous operation of the entire system - which usually consists of several irrigation systems. Even with varying water requirements for individual plant areas, the 4040 modular controls the individual irrigation intervals per channel, allowing individual and optimal irrigation.

The Irrigation Computer 4040 modular has been developed for connection of four Irrigation Valves 24 V (Art. No. 1278-20) and can be expanded with the Comfort Expansion Module 2040 (Art. No. 1277-20), up to a maximum of 12 valves. For highly flexible programming of the irrigation, up to four programs per valve can be stored. The irrigation days and cycles can be freely selected. The irrigation duration can be set from 1 minute to 4 hours 59 minutes and can be centrally set from 0 to 200 %. If watering is to be started immediately, the system can also be activated manually. The user is guided through the programming process, which is very simple.

The GARDENA Pump Relay (Order No. 1273-20) can be connected via the main channel so that a pump can be controlled as an alternative water supply. Practical: the GARDENA Comfort Irrigation System 4040 Modular can be used indoors and outdoors and has a 230 V power connection. The Irrigation System can be protected against power failure by means of a 9 V alkaline battery, so that the system always works reliably and safely (battery not included). If required, a GARDENA Rain Sensor or Soil Moisture Sensor can be connected for water-saving operation.
