The Mora Classic Original No1 is the forerunner of the Mora Classic with its distinctive red handle. Partly because of the decorated case, this knife is a real collector's item. This does not alter the fact that this knife is of course excellent to use, as we are used to from Morakniv knives.

The blade is made of a middle layer of steel with a high hardness, laminated between two layers of steel with a lower hardness. This combination guarantees a durable yet razor-sharp cut.

The richly decorated case is made of a material known as "vulcanized fibre". These are cellulose fibers that become very hard due to the vulcanization process. This makes it almost resemble plastic in texture, but it is much more durable.
