Cast iron is a material that conducts and retains heat well, also cast iron is suitable for any heat source. The unique oval shape makes this Dutch Oven ideal for baking the finest breads. Thanks to the raised edge, you can place coals on the lid and create an oven function inside the Dutch Oven. Because the lid has a grill bottom, you can use this Dutch oven for various dishes.

The VH9L has no feet on the bottom and therefore you can easily place it in your oven or on your barbecue grid. Do you need legs? You can place the VH23G underneath this Dutch Oven to create the effect of feet.

The Dutch Ovens of Valhal Outdoor are already pre-treated with a natural oil, so you do not need to do this yourself before first use.
