test out where best to place the trap and not just set the trap on the patch you
think is the right one. The detector maps indicate where you should install your trap. In many cases, this may be in a different place than where you saw or heard the animals. The cards contain long-lasting bait for rats and mice. By checking the bite marks on the cards after a few nights, you will know where best to place your trap.
