Description
HAGLOF MORA AUGER COMPLETE - 5.15MM THICK 300MM LONG
An increment borer is a hollow auger used in tree care and timber production, intended to take a sample from the wood wall of a tree. The aim is to analyse the wood for strength, growth/age (year rings) and infestation. The auger is also used for checking the impregnation of rushes and piles but also for assessing the quality of wooden piles.
By turning the auger with the transverse handle into the tree, you can drill to the desired depth. Once the auger has been removed, use the spoon of the same size to remove the core bit. The wood sample is now available for inspection.
