The ultra-sharp and innovative forged blade chops wood more efficiently. The blade is also double hardened to ensure the sharp, precision ground edge stays sharp longer. The wider blade and splitting slot add strength and make it easier to remove the axe. The friction-reducing coating allows the blade to glide effortlessly through wood and prevents rusting. The overmolded axe head joint is securely attached to the handle.

X-Series™ axes are virtually unbreakable and feature a lightweight but highly durable FiberComp™ handle that absorbs shock and protects against tipping. The curved handle keeps the wrist in a comfortable, neutral position. A larger-than-usual textured SoftGrip™-coated area on the handle provides a firm grip, while the curved end of the handle improves work safety before, during and after a move.
