The combination of the traditional Japanese whale shape and Silky's unique 4-RETSUME teeth make the Zorin a masterful hacksaw. The teeth are cut in such a way that there are 4 rows of teeth that ensure a good disposal of sawdust. The extra coarse teeth reduce so much wood that you need to have considerable strength to handle this saw. Using the Zorin with two hands relieves your shoulders, which has a great effect on the cutting power you need to saw through thick trunks or dismantle trees.

It may take some practice and patience to make a first saw cut with the Zorin. Thanks to the progressive toothing (from 5 to 6.5 teeth per 30 mm), the teeth near the handle are slightly finer than at the end of the blade, which makes the first cut a little easier. And once the saw is in motion, it is unstoppable!

The long blade extends into the handle which makes the saw extremely strong and gives you good control. Working with this heavy duty hand saw is so fast that you can easily leave your chainsaw a little more often. Moreover, the Zorin is lighter, safer and quieter than a chainsaw.

The comfortable rubber grip is large enough for two hands, absorbs vibrations and gives a good grip. The Zorin comes in a lightweight, polypropylene holster with waist strap. This means the saw is always safely stored and within easy reach.
