A true natural product
The mixing spoon is made from local cherry wood, and then oiled. The oiling gives cherry wood its characteristic reddish color - further enhancing its distinctive grain. This grain makes each spoon unique, and thus may differ from our illustration.

Care instructions

Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. Therefore, you should not soak the Petromax spoon in water for too long, but clean it thoroughly with warm water and cleaning powder. Then set it on its side and let it air dry.
To enjoy your Petromax wooden spoon for a long time, follow these instructions: If the oils diminish with use and cleaning, you can rub the spoon with warm, flavorless vegetable oil or kerosene oil (paraffinum perliquidum). Let it soak in overnight and rub off excess oil. You can repeat this treatment regularly.
