In 1997, Fiskars revolutionized the market by introducing the "pruning giraffe" family. Pruning giraffes make it possible to prune in hard-to-reach places, such as in treetops or just close to the ground, and to reach these places comfortably and without a ladder. The chain mechanism and the roller cord system provide enormous power savings. The pruning head can be rotated by 230° so that you can work comfortably in any position. The pruning mechanism on the back of the pruning giraffe makes pruning at these heights possible. The Pruning Giraffe 'Premium' has a wide range of pruning positions, with the possibility of rotating and fixing the pruning head by up to 230°.
