Thermal weed control offers an effective alternative to chemical weed killers to tackle weeds around the house, as chemicals should not be used on paved surfaces such as driveways or sidewalks; they cannot seep through the ground and, at worst, are discharged unfiltered to the sewer at the next rainfall.

Thermoflamm bio Fix works with a heating coil up to 800 °C and is ready for use within a short time. Rapid work progress is guaranteed thanks to the large radiation surface of 150 cm². An integrated heat protection plate and stainless steel reflectors ensure optimum heat protection and effective weed treatment.

The device is passed directly over the plant for several seconds. The escaping heat expands deep into the roots and causes the liquid in the plant cells to solidify. The cell walls explode due to the expansion of the liquid - the plant dries out within a few days. It is not necessary to burn away the plant completely.
