Rock Exotica Akimbo

The Rock Exotica Akimbo is a unique tree climbing device that can be adapted to different rope diameters without tools or assembly. It enables the tree climber to ascend, descend and position on both SRT and DRT systems.

The rope contact surfaces are adjustable: in this way the friction can be increased or decreased if conditions change during climbing. In addition, the Akimbo adapts to the natural wear and tear of the contact surfaces. This increases the service life. The extremely compact device can easily be opened for installation or removal on the rope.
