LMF Firesteel Bio Army Rusty Orange

The Firesteels were originally developed specifically for the Swedish Army. It is the first fire starter made of magnesium in the form of a rod. Using the supplied stainless steel scraper you can produce sparks at an average of 3000°C.

A Firesteel Scout is good for 3,000 firings and a Firesteel Army 12,000 firings. The Firesteel Bio Scout Cocoshell performs even at extreme altitudes with oxygen-deficient air and it works just as well in wet condition. Use for countless applications from lighting a gas stove to starting a campfire. Also equipped with an emergency whistle in the scraper. An indispensable piece of equipment for survival, hunting, sport fishing and camping.

New material

This product is made of biobased plastic. With a view to a better future, Light My Fire only uses biobased plastic for the production of their products. With "biobased" we mean materials which are made of biomass from vegetable resources like corn, sugarcane and cellulose. The biobased assortment can be recognized by the new colors of natural, soft, earthy and peaceful tones. In terms of packaging, 100% recyclable or reusable material has also been chosen.
